James Fisher
LEGAL PRACTITIONER DIRECTOR
Having studied and worked in the law for over a decade, James works with his clients to achieve outcomes in a wide range of matters – from the complex to the routine.
While his legal practice is broad, James has a particular interest in litigation and dispute resolution, including in areas like succession, commercial law, personal injury and employment law.

James brings to his work a belief that every client deserves careful attention and informed management. Every interaction is informed by a determination to recognise and respect the human element in every case.

James holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in law as well as a Doctor of Philosophy. His formal qualifications reflect his commitment to giving tailored advice and quality representation, grounded in extensive legal knowledge and practical problem solving skills.

Clare Farmer
LEGAL PRACTITIONER DIRECTOR
Clare has worked alongside her business partner, James, since 2011, and after many years of practising together in a separate local firm, they established their partnership in 2024. She completed degrees in Law and Biomedical Science in Brisbane before relocating to Rockhampton, where she now lives on a cattle property with her husband and three daughters.

Before entering private practice, Clare had the privilege of working as an Associate in the District Court in Brisbane, an experience that gave her invaluable insight into judicial decision-making and court processes. This background continues to inform her strategic, practical, and well-considered approach to legal practice.

Having spent much of her childhood and early adulthood on her family’s sheep property, and now raising her own family on a cattle property, Clare has experienced the best of both worlds. This grounded upbringing has shaped her practical, hands-on approach to law and drives her passion for helping clients achieve clear, meaningful, and lasting outcomes.

Clare brings a deep level of empathy to her work, particularly in family law matters. She understands firsthand the emotional challenges parents face when navigating separation and change, and this insight strongly shapes her compassionate and considered approach to legal practice.

While Clare practises across several areas, including Wills and Estates and Property Law, her primary focus is Family Law. She is deeply committed to supporting clients through what is often one of the most challenging periods of their lives, providing clear advice, steady guidance, and practical support.
